Excellent. First outing at the weekend and I used both wood and charcoal to test both out. First dish was a bean and veg chilli in a dutch oven suspended over the cube via a tripod (allowed me to adjust height for temp)rather than just use the grill as a plate. Second dish was a classic burger with cheese and relish and a toasted bun. The mini cooked it perfectly and appetites were satisfied with congratulations all round for the Chef (me).
I’ve not long started cooking with wood, and was intrigued by the design of the Barbecube mini. The first time I used it was was on a camping trip for the weekend cooking breakfast and dinner for 4 people and I am completely converted. It’s a great design, I especially like the half and half grill so you can fry eggs etc. It doesn’t go through crazy amounts of logs and you can control the temperature very easily. The food tastes great from it and over all it’s a great piece of kit, I highly recommend!
Absolutely blown away, as a chef I have cooked on all types of fire. The Barbecube has obliterated the competition, the mini may be the baby brother of the OG but has the capability of happily accommodating our family of 4. Easy to light and holds the heat amazing. Am comfortable to say this is the best out there.
I recently purchased the mini and it does everything I hoped. Cooks enough for our family of 3. Its so easy to light and the food tastes amazing.
